Creative Fused Glass

Kiln Formed Fused Glass is a very exciting medium; I endlessly discover new and changing ways to use glass to make my wall hangings, mirrors, dishes, 3d and sculptural work.

I create my work in my studio in Downstairs @ Artemis, 214 Gloucester Road, Bristol BS7 8NU should you wish to visit  please contact me.

A interesting selection of my work is on this website and see my 'Where to view' page.

The prices range from a few pounds depending on the size and I am happy to work on commissions should you have a special requirement.

Technique:

When creating my work, first there is the designing of the piece, then I cut the glass into the shapes I require from sheets of glass, the compatable glass is then placed in the kiln to form into the work.

The pieces of glass are placed in a controlled flat bed glass kiln and heated to temperatures of over 800 degrees centigrade, hot enough to melt the glass to fuse together; kiln programmes take a period of about 12-20 hours.

I now have a new fused glass on-line shop for buying my NEW VENTURE 'FuzeTime' Fused Glass Clocks, so now visit www.fuzetime.com
